Financial Planning

Our Financial Planning Process comprises of five elements; cash flow management, risk management, tax planning management, investment planning management and estate planning management. During the process of financial planning, each component must be properly addressed. Our role is to ensure that you take full advantage of existing and future financial planning opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE BASE

We believe it is imperative to take the time necessary to learn who you are and what is important to you. We keep ourselves abreast of the many changes that constantly take place in the financial world so as to be well prepared to assist you in achieving your goals.

CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT

Cash flow is the first area of every financial plan that needs to be carefully examined. Maintaining a positive cash flow is the key to creating a solid foundation to build on when striving to meet your financial goals.

RISK MANAGEMENT

Once cash flow is properly managed, protecting yourself is the next step in a financial plan. Here we look at ensuring that you will remain financially secure regardless of any unforeseen events occurring in your life.

TAX PLANNING MANAGEMENT

We consider the tax implications of individual or business decisions throughout the year, with the goal of minimizing your tax liability. We recognize that tax planning is not a simple matter and understand that the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) is constantly changing its rules, so by staying abreast of the many areas of the CRA, we are able to make sure that you are not paying more than your fair share in taxes by recommending all available opportunities.

INVESTMENT PLANNING MANAGEMENT

After having created a solid foundation for your financial well-being, the next step is investment planning. Through asset allocation and risk tolerance models, we assist you in reaching your short and long-term investment goals.

ESTATE PLANNING MANAGEMENT

The last area to address in your financial plan is the estate plan. Here we ensure that your Will and Powers of Attorney are current. We also assess whether or not your affairs will flow tax effectively to the beneficiaries of your estate. It is important to note that you are never too young to do Estate Planning.
